One thing that I learned as a kid from the Bronx trying to survive. If you get into a street brawl with your enemies, once you have them on the ropes, you finish them off. Obama had the entire Republican Party in dissaray and on the ropes. Bush and Cheney were bruised and battered. Rush Limbaugn was their leader going nowhere except to narcotic hell. Instead Obama gets into a debate with Cheney and loses. He doesn't release the pictures. He does not close Guantanamo and send the detainees to a Federal Prison to be held for trial or release. Instead he states he is going to retain the military trial forum that the American People voted to close down. He looks forward and not backwards. This lets Cheney off the hook from prosecution for war crimes. Hell, if Cheney got on national TV that he hung dozens of detainees without a trial or some semblance of military justice, Cheney would not be prosecuted. Cheney, having heard that has gone on national TV and confessed to war crimes, and gets applauded by the criminals in our society.
NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE.
Obama, you will never bring the people together unless you show the determination of Lincoln whom you admire.
